Wax & Wonder
10am - 2pm. Second Saturdays.
A beginners workshop with an introduction to encaustic painting and the wonder of wax.
Students will watch a demonstration and then dive into the art of painting and experimenting with pigmented melted wax! You will make and take a painting made by your-very-own-self. This is a casual, fun, creative, open studio setting with guided assistance. Jenn is a working artist who has completed Advanced Teacher Training with R&F Paints.
No art experience necessary. Must be 18+ years of age.
We will be using butane torches and irons to fuse the layers of wax. Therefore, the class is limited to age 18+ yrs old and 4 persons. Studio is located in Oakland, CA.
